The movie for the weekend “The Great Race”
With Natalie Wood as Miss Dubois, the intrepid and attractive news reporter, Tony Curtis as hero The Great Leslie, and Jack Lemmon as villian, Professor Fate, with his sidekick, Peter Falk as Max. A wonderful romp where the hero is always in pristine white complete with a sparkle in tooth and eye, and the villain in classic black, for whom nothing goes right.
it was perhaps fitting that the screen collapsed during the bar fight, but after a dash for a ladder and some quick repairs the film resumed to great reviews.
